Albert Park winds around a lake in a Melbourne city park, a smooth, fast, semi-street circuit that opens the European-style season Down Under. The 2022 revisions ripped out a chicane and opened up the corners, turning it into a flowing 5.278 km lap of 14 turns with several long, full-throttle runs and late-braking passing zones.
Home of the Australian Grand Prix since 1996, Albert Park is quick and qualifying-sensitive. Pole laps run into the 1:19s.
