Racing Circuit Map is a fan-made map of Grand Prix circuits, available on the web at racingcircuitmap.com and as iOS and Android apps. This policy covers all three.
What we collect
No account is required and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the app. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (which pages and features are viewed) through PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand what is useful and to fix problems. This data is not linked to your identity and is not sold.
What we do not collect
We do not access your location, contacts, photos, or files. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules race-weekend reminders locally on your device from the public race calendar. These are generated on your device; no notification data is sent to us.
Maps and data
Map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, OpenStreetMap, and CARTO. Circuit geometry is from the bacinger/f1-circuits project, and lap telemetry is derived via FastF1. Loading a map sends standard web requests (such as your IP address) to those tile providers, subject to their own policies.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
