The Baku City Circuit runs through the streets of the Azerbaijani capital on the Caspian Sea, a 6.003 km lap that splits into two worlds: a flat-out blast past the seafront and one of the longest straights in Formula 1, then a tight, twisting climb through the medieval old town, including a castle section barely wide enough for one car.
First raced in 2016, Baku pairs the highest top speeds of the year with walls inches from the racing line, a combination that makes it one of the most unpredictable weekends on the calendar. Pole laps run around 1:41.
